Two books that people love, that just don't do it for me are
Wake by McCann and The Forrest of Hands and Teeth by Ryan
I even read Fade the sequel to Wake, still nothing. Actually I liked the second book even else.
!! I remember trying Wake! I couldn't get into it either, personallly. I think the writing style put me off. =/
