This was a super cool tour, with lots of lesser known fascinating content.Jodiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11462660276240016464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6180270161844980828.post-23659951479322027742010-03-23T20:50:04.117-04:002010-03-23T20:50:04.117-04:00I so agree! I was literally just thinking about this because now it's over =/ I'm with you on the interviews, I think people need to Google and make sure the author has not already ben asked 'what's your inspiration/where do you get your ideas'. I love that question but after reading the same anser 5x, I'm annoyed nad I'm sure the author is too (just too polite to say so).

Anyhoo, Y.S. Lee completely raised the bar on blog tours. Her posts were fantastic! The history nerd in me read and commented on almost all of these. I learned so much and I want the SEQUEL NOW! And the SE Asia novel!! lol. Seriously I decided I had to read the novel once Doret told me that POC in Victorian England played a role in this novel. We existed back then? haha.

Furthermore, I'm now determined to read Middlemarch and anything else by Geroge Eliot. We start Brit Lit next year, and Ms. Lee's posts made me excited for it (I was previously dreading it).

I'm with Jenny, the one family toothbrush is just 100x grosser to me!

Whee looong comment but overall: Spy in the House=awesomeness and I can't wait for your review. I'm not sure any blog tour posts will be able to compare (certainly not historical fiction ones because they are a rarity. I want to see more like these).

BTW I LOVED Laurence Yep's ballet stories as a kid. I never read his Golden Mountain Chronicles except Dragonwings and I ended up not loving that one. So I stuck to the ballet. I do intend on giving them another go though. Read Ribbons!MissAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11042352415616854651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6180270161844980828.post-36489268285936454232010-03-23T13:40:33.156-04:002010-03-23T13:40:33.156-04:00I know the cadavers thing is much yuckier, but the...I know the cadavers thing is much yuckier, but the toothbrush thing squiffs me out more. I am soooo particular about brushing my teeth. Ew, ew, ew. I am glad I live now.Jennyhttp://jennysbooks.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
